About Committee

The United Nations Economic and Social Council, ECOSOC, is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, which serves as the central forum for discussing international economic, social and environmental issues and formulating policy recommendations to member states. The council consists of 54 Members of the United Nations elected by the General Assembly.
